Saying bye to Michael

Michael left for Iraq on Sunday. We dropped him off at Eglin Air Force Base and met the guys he was deploying with. Everyone he's working with seems to get along and enjoy each other's company so it made it a little easier to say goodbye. We finally heard from him today. He flew from Florida to Germany and then to Kuwait. He is waiting in Kuwait for a few days to leave for Iraq. He thinks he will be in Iraq by the end of the week. He is doing well and thank you to all of you who are keeping him in your prayers. We really appreciate it.

Michael was home this week! Rachel loves spending time with her daddy and it will be hard not having him around for 6 months.

Rachel is learning how to feed herself. She tried a graham cracker last night and made a huge mess but loved every minute of it!

What do I do next?

Rachel is very close to crawling. She's not sure what to do when she gets up on all fours. She has no problem getting around though!!
